FAQs

  • How will a traffic ticket/citation affect me?

If you received a ticket for a moving violation (speeding, improper stop, running a red light, etc), the best option is to attend Traffic School.  By assisting to one of our Driver Improvement Classes, no points will be assessed on your license and the citation will not appear on driving your record and your auto insurance will not increase. If you elect to simply pay for the citation and not attend traffic school, points will be assessed on your driver’s license and it will take three years for the points to fall off your record.

  • Are there any restrictions for taking a traffic school class?

Yes, if you have a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), and you were cited for a moving violation, you are not eligible to attend traffic school. The only way a CDL driver can attend a traffic school class is with a court order.  Also, you may not elect traffic school if you have already elected and attended a class for a previous ticket within the past 12 months, or if you have elected to attend traffic school five times within your lifetime.

  • Are classes approved by the State of Florida?

Our school is licensed and certified by the Florida Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles Department and all of our classes/lessons are approved by the state.
